Why does Farrah called her dad “Michael”?
Many people speculate that he’s not her biological father due to the fact that Farrah’s mom has a different last name, and that her and her sister look so drastically different. Not to mention, when her parents were filing for divorce, it seemed strange that “Michael” asked Farrah if she wanted him in her life anymore.
Believe it or not, Michael is her biological father, and she started calling him by his first name when things started going south between Farrah and her mother. Michael was constantly taking Farrah’s mother’s side and as a sign of losing respect for him as a father, she stopped calling him “dad”, and started calling him “Michael”.
While many people say she’s being disrespectful, they also need to take into account everything that her and her parents went through, be it pushing important things aside, psychical, emotional, and mental abuse, and more. Frankly, with everything they have been through, I’d give them an A for effort on rekindling the family.
There is alot of rekindling that needs to be done. I don’t really agree with her calling him Michael unless that’s her stepdad. Regardless, she needs to still give respect. She can’t expect it JUST from them. They have done their part.
Farrah is such a cunt. She treats her parents like dirt even though they’re just trying to help her. No wonder she doesn’t have any friends. I love how a few episodes ago she complained about her teacher calling her rude or whatever and she was super surprised. Umm, hello, you are a total BITCH. And what she tweeted about Demi Lovato? That was seriously pathetic. Demi is famous because she’s talented. Farrah is famous because she couldn’t keep her legs closed.

I’ve also noticed a lot of other Teen Mom blogs posting stories and then you ‘magically’ coming up with a similar story the next day. Pretty pathetic when you have to steal from other sites.
Respect your father, spoiled brat. He always does everything he can for her even when it’s something awkward for a father to have to do. He’s been nothing but supportive. She’s just pissed she can’t always walk all over him and get what she wants now that she has a child of her own…oh wait…she kinda does. I always wondered about this too, I think it’s very disrespectful. I knew Michael was her bio dad because they have the same last name, Abraham. Not to mention Farrah, Sophia, and Michael all look a lot alike. Debra and Ashley both have the last name Danielson (I believe). So I guess Ashley was the product of another relationship Debra had before marrying Michael.
I always feel terrible for Michael when she’s so blatantly rude to him when he’s just trying to be a good dad to his spoiled cunt of a daughter. He was nice enough to help her after her boob job and he even got frozen veggies to put on her implants but she still had the nerve to get snappy with him when he told Sophia to get down off of the cedar chest because she could have fell. I would love to have a father like him and the fact that she treats him like that just sickens me. I can’t stand her.

i agree, farrah does need an attitude adjustment. she has it pretty good. i dont know why she wanted to move away because her family seems pretty great as far as helping her with sophia. i just cant get over how cute sophia is
We may only see an hour of her a week, but that doesn’t mean MTV MAKES her say rude things to her parents. Anyone who treats their parents with so much disrespect, even a few times, is a cunt. I wish her parents would just completely cut her off. That’ll give her a reality check.

WRONG- she called him michael in 16 and pregnant. i’ve heard he was absent in her life and she grew up hearing ashley and debra calling him michael and thats what she knew. plus you dont talk to farrah how the frick would you know?
Farrah ought to be ashamed of herself for the way she treats people. Regardless of the past history, she treats everyone like crap, for no reason. She’s just rude and seems to have such a strong belief that she’s entitled. No one will put up with that, which is why she doesn’t have friends. No matter what her family discourse it, I’m appalled each week when I see how she behaves. I cringe while listening to the awful things she says to people and her snide, snarky comments. Even when her sister invited her to the pumpkin patch she was rude and snarky. I want someone to give her a reality check. I feel sorry for Sophia, who is forced to live in that environment. She’s going to grow up thinking it’s ok to be rude and bitchy for no reason.
Oh also, in the show Teen Mom 2 she’s all upset about Sophia’s dad being dead and whatnot, but in her episode of 16 an pregnant, she didn’t tell him she was pregnant and avoided him throughout the pregnancy. I don’t understand why now that he’s dead she all of a sudden cares about him, when she wanted nothing to do with him all through the pregnancy and afterwards. Can someone explain?
@Beylhi Her mother didn’t like him or his family. I believe I heard on one episode (I may be wrong) but she made Farrah stop seeing him cause she didn’t like him. You also got to consider we never expect someone to die so sudden we never know when its our time to go and im sure that make Farrah feel even more bad that see kept it from him

Everyone asks this. I have a sister and we have different dads, so in all fairness to my sister I call my dad Michael just like she does and everyone else in my family. It works out fairly this way in my family. I do call my dad “Dad” sometimes. If others look at this as a disrespectful thing then you can talk to my mom about it. I never started it, I was taught to do it this way.

I agree that Farrah can be rude to people, that was very ovious on the week before last Teen Mom, when she called the realator and she asked about schools, he started naming them and then she got snotty, like he was suppose to know what she was talking about as in what kind of school. And yes I do remember her pushing derek away while she was pregnant, god love him he passes and probably had no clue he was going to be a daddy. Now onto Farrah Calling her father Michael…if she was raised that way then its different, but if she’s doing it to be rude shes ignorant. I pray that she stays close to her parents that truely love her. But she has her dreams and goals planned and she’s pushing them away. Sophia needs a full time set of grandparents then maby her attitude won’t be like her mothers when she grows up!
