RUMOR CLEAR UP – Is Teen Mom 2 Getting Cancelled Thanks to Jenelle?
There have been a handful or articles roaming around claiming that MTV has officially pulled Teen Mom 2 because of Jenelle and her attention seeking antics.
True or False?
MTV has not made any decisions regarding the fate of the show. The show has not been cancelled. That being said, the whole Jenelle thing is being discussed. Because of Jenelle, the show has stopped being about typical Teen Mom struggles, and has began being her way to justify her bad decisions.
Kail, Leah, and Chelsea have done good with their Teen Mom 2 notoriety. They have done public speaking, NoH8 campaigns against bulling, have lived quiet and productive lives where they work and raise their children.
Jenelle has used her fame to exploit people to her followers that she has gained from the show, via Facebook, Stickam, Twitter, etc. She has jumped from relationship with a criminal to relationship with a criminal and every time the relationship has ended she has gotten the law involved. She has also gone back to every bad relationship that she had the law involved in. For Jenelle, it seems like no matter how bad her decisions are, as long as she has 843689 followers telling her she can do no wrong, nothing will stop her….and MTV is forced to film this because it’s all there is to film for her.
I can’t blame them for thinking about it. I get legitimately annoyed every week when I have to watch Jenelle do something more and more stupid. This season alone we’ve seen her pick jail over being drug free and taking pee tests, say that she can’t go to jail on time because she has to see Ke$ha, we’ve seen her get a roommate and then spend an entire day trying to find ways to make her miserable, and have a puppet show done for her son filled with cuss words and drama.
My proposed solution? Keep Teen Mom going and remove Jenelle. Show that they can do what needs to be done to keep their integrity and not reward bad behavior. I continue to enjoy the other girls, even when the story line is a year and some change behind.
Another suggestion?
Stop waiting so long to air everything. We just watched Snooki give birth on her spin-off, and that was less than 6 months ago…but everything Teen Mom is EXREMELY behind.
It’s still a good show with a good message, but with every new good thing, comes new bad problems and you have to find ways to address them. This is the second “bad apple” that has come from a Teen Mom season, but this one seems to have no intentions of getting better. Amber on the other hand, has taken jail like a champ and is doing everything she can to learn from her mistakes.

If MTV were smart they would just drop Jenelle as a whole, not punish the other teen moms but oh wait that makes sense.
Jenelle’s story is no longer about being a teen mom and she isnt doing anything for ratings, we watch her fall apart daily on her many media outlets and she is rather annoying sad and pathetic watch, i personally fast forward when she is on. i hate watching her say the same stupid things over and over again. and do the same stupid things over and over again. and we all hate watching her make Jace cry. so her like i said her story is no longer about being a teen mom she is a mom biologically but physically and mentally she is not her story is now about a drug addicts crash course thru like she should be on true life not teen mom.
MTV had already made the executive decision to cancelthe first teen mom before Amber went to jail, partially because her judge told her to leave her contract and the other moms already had expressed interest in pursuing other endeavors. With Teen Mom 2, daddy issues are highly displayed and unfortunately Jenelle represents a large group of teen moms who do or did the same she is… That being said, Jenelle should not be on the show. Her situation is being compared to Caitlynn and Tyler, but she didn’t give her kid up for adoption. She chooses not to be there 24 hours for him and when she was strung out on Ustream she said the only thing she didn’t like about not having her son Is that her mom dresses him in thrift store clothes.. Wtf?! How about the fact your mom has him and not you like any normal mother would feel like. Every time she gets into an argument her talks about how many followers she has and how MTV will never drop her. It doesn’t help that she lives in boonies NC where everyone treats her like a celebrity and tries to get close to her to sell stories about her for money. So she thinks she’s more important to society than she actually is.
She needs to stop toking it up everyday that she still does, GET A JOB, GET HER SON BACK, and be taken off TV asap… She is a low life piece of it and needs to deflate her head a ton

It is a good show with a good message? Uhhhh how is that? If they cancel the show it shouldn’t just be because of Jenelle but Leah as well. It is obvious by her 2 marriages and 4 children that the point of the show and message they were trying to get across has failed big time.
I would love them to change the format of this show.
I’m tired of the super obvious manufactured drama and the forced sit down conversations with friends and family (yep, totally natural looking and not at all rehearsed). I don’t give a shit that they all have guy problems. I would just like to see young moms raising their children and the actual parental struggles/problems they face with it and have the guy stuff be a very small side thing. WHERE ARE THE FRUSTRATED PARENT TEARS, MTV? WHERE? I want some “I wasn’t prepared for this” crying gdi.
While they’re at it add some confessional type videos. Do it kind of like 16 and pregnant. Give all the girls, guys, and parents video cameras so they can vent their feelings and incorporate those into episodes.
They should cut the amount of money these girls get too – minimum wage and put the rest of it in accounts only the kids can access when they turn 18. Tada! Back to what actual Teen Moms struggle with, money~ (flashbacks of Tyler pulling up to his mobile home in that car). There you go MTV, seasons worth of issues just from that alone. yw!
If they changed up the show we wouldn’t get episodes so late either. They obviously spend so much time editing this shit for boy drama (helloooo different hair colors and clothing in the same scene) when we already know things didn’t happen that way so it’s just a huge waste of time for everyone.
Trainwrecks like Jenelle and Amber are the only draw for me right now. If Teen Mom 3 doesn’t have one and they don’t change the format of the show I won’t be watching. I don’t have it in me to watch more teen moms sitting comfortably on their MTV money with all the time in the world to whine and cry about guys while doing absolutely nothing with their lives. It’s boring as fuck and has nothing at all to do with what teen moms actually struggle with.
if they get rid of jenelle, they should get rid of leah too honestly. she’s been married twice, is pregnant for a third time, not exactly a good role model (obviously jenelle is far, far worse). the reason they didn’t do a teen mom for 2B i think? or 2A is because of more than one person getting pregnant for a second time, so why should leah be any different?
I don’t think MTV would cancel Teen Mom because of Jenelle’s shenanigans. Her train wreck makes for good ratings. I think they would cancel Teen Mom if they had information that she actually got pregnant for cash.
Really, I don’t want to get into the debate (I’m pro-choice, you’re pro-life, we’re not going to change each other’s stance) but I do draw the line at impregnating yourself for cash and aborting because predictable crackhead drama broke your relationship up. She wanted that baby, to make money, make Taylor jealous and she took steps to conceieve. That’s beyond despicable and I hope that MTV has enough of a conscience to stop financing Jenelle’s destructive lifestyle.
That being said, I don’t care if the show gets cancelled. Chelsea’s storyline is flat, every episode is about her GED or Adam. She is not independent and/or working towards independence. She is comfortable living off her generous dad. Whatever.
Kailyn is irritating. Her jealousy gets in the way of co-parenting. She is such a hypocrite when it comes to introducing romantic partner’s into her son’s life. I didn’t understand her telling Javi in the last episode that she wasn’t interested in dating him because she didn’t want to confuse Isaac but hanging out with him and her son and doing family things is ok. What did she think Javi was there for? He was there to court her not provide companionship or help with a child he has no obligation to.
I don’t even know where to start with Leah. I think she would be mad as hell if roles were reversed and it was Corey moving on so fast, getting engaged and impregnating another woman. I get so mad thinking about how she took no time to screen Jeremy and jumped right into playing house with him. I’m surprised there is not more outrage over leah’s selfishness. All of her shitty choices are dismissed because she can “afford” her children. Ok, well at least Jeremy seems old-fashioned and will stand by her even if his marriage/Leah sucks balls.

I don’t even know why MTV kept Jenelle’s worthless as on ANYWAYS. She gave birth but has done jack shit in the way of mothering.
I’ve always thought they should never have done teen mom. 16 and pregnant is good because the girls don’t have money or fame or anything. They are normal teenagers who got pregnant. When it becomes a long term thing it becomes about fame, not education.

Jenelle has gone to far. I think just about everyone is sick of watching her not learn from any of her mistakes and keep doing stupid things. But I think that a lot of young girls do take her path and end up leaving there children for there parents to take care of while they party all the time so it makes since for mtv to show it. But girls like her don’t even learn from there own mistakes. So they are never going to learn from the show.
I think after there done with the season they are recording then it is time for teen mom 2 to be over it can’t last forever.
i also agree leah is terrible for the show its suppose to show how pregnant at a young age is hard and difficult she makes it look like its ok shes so desperate its disgusting!!

Heather, it pains me to say this, it really does, but– you are absolutely right. Chelsea, Leah and Kail are exceptional young ladies and do not deserve to lose their livelihood because of Jenelle. Keeping her on the show not only provides her with the money to fund her irresponsible lifestyle, but she also garners the attention that she craves. MTV is not responsible for her bad actions, but they are enabling her to continue them. The rest of the babies on the show benefit from their mothers’ earnings, but Jace does not see a dime of the money Jenelle gets. There is no good reason to keep her on the show and no good reason to cut the other girls’ throats by canceling.
I can’t agree with getting rid of Jenelle. If Jenelle gets kicked off because the show is enabling her irresponsible lifestyle then I’m going to argue Chelsea and Leah should be removed from the show as well. They may not be drug addicts, but when you’re so lazy that most of your segments are filmed in-front of a couch that’s not any better of a message to be sending.
OT: I’m watching this weeks episode right now and Leah is like, “I’ve been feeling sick lately, and since I took out my birth control I gotta find out what’s going on.” I think she’s stupid, but this girl is not that stupid. Biting her nails and trying to look all distraught over it, come on now. Just admit you think having his baby will make him stay with you. People don’t have this many “accidents” without it being intentional.
In what world is staying home to care for your small children just as irresponsible as leaving your son to go out and drink, do drugs, jump from guy to guy and get arrested? Most stay at home mothers DO spend a lot of time on the couch WATCHING THEIR CHILDREN!!! It is not laziness to stay home and raise your child, and even if it was, I’d rather my child aspire to be lazy than a worthless drug addict.
@Reallucantbeserious, I don’t think it is an issue of bad mom vs good mom, I think these girls just don’t have any aspirations other than boys. It is brutal to watch as much as it is boring. All Leah cares about are boys, she works every now and then and goes to school every now and then but that’s it. Solid proof that she is milking the TM2 paycheck, which honestly should have 80% going to a trust fund for the kids, not the moms. Chelsea, same thing, she is irresponsible, makes her dad do everything for her (I love Randy but seriously he needs to stop enabling her stupidity) and whines about Adam. She doesn’t work, doesn’t go to school, doesn’t do anything but parent. Kail, same thing, wants a boyfriend, gets one breaks up whines about Jo. The only thing I can say is she does work and parents and goes to school which is what I would like to see more of here. I think she is the only girl who truly struggles since she has no parental support, she has no choice but to do it on her own. Jenelle is just a sorry ass loser who will most likely be dead before she hits 30. The point of TM is to show the struggles these girls go through, but let me tell you if they are struggling with brand new Jeeps, brand new iPhones, well maintained hair and nails and being able to break leases constantly and moving at a moment’s notice with no repercussions then count me in on “struggling”. Their lives are looking more glamorous than it should.
There’s nothing wrong with stay at home mothers and I do not make a habit of calling stay at home mothers lazy, just to be clear.
In this situation we’re talking about MTV funding bad habits and how one girl should be removed from the show because of it. I do not believe that the focus should be solely on Jenelle because MTV is funding bad habits for some of the other girls and it does need to be addressed because there are children involved.
It is irresponsible for Chelsea and Leah to be as lazy and unmotivated as they are when they are responsible for other lives. Period.
They’re young, they have the family support available to have their children watched while they pursue a career (both of their families were practically begging for it ffs). They also have MTV money to help with bills so they can focus on working toward that career without having to worry about juggling being a mom, school, and a job.
They hit the jackpot as far opportunity is concerned for young moms, but instead of taking advantage of it for the sake of their children (like Kail) they chose instead to live off the temporary money and do fuck-all with their lives.
I don’t see farting on a couch all day watching babies as anything admirable when their “livelihood” is extremely temporary and coming to an end sooner rather than later. It’s lazy, it’s stupid, it’s irresponsible and there are _no_ good reasons for it. If anything those two need to be kicked out of the MTV nest more than Jenelle because they would benefit from a good fall back to reality. Jenelle is just a lost cause and nothing will help her at this point.

Has anyone thought about how much Leah or Chelsea spends at the salon a month on that, I just mad cause I hate my hair color and can’t afford to dye it at all, sometimes my wonderful husband buys me a box but well I need two just for the sheer amount of icky dirt brown hair I have! And then you have to keep buying it but we don’t have that kind of money every month so I don’t even ask! Some salons charge around $150 for the Leah had in the last episode!

There is nothing wrong with a stay at home mom, but Leah is in a completely different league. Instead of being a normal stay at home mom, to me she is just a baby factory.
Someone who is on her SECOND marriage and her FORTH child all before the age of 21 is not a role model and is not the message MTV was originally suppose to be putting out there. Leah isn’t suffering, she is sitting at home and reaping all the benefits from the MTV paychecks and the paychecks from her husband who is off working his ass off. She tied him so damn fast it isn’t even funny, but it will probably last simply because he isn’t around all the time because of work. The only suffering we have seen from Leah is what she has caused herself by not keeping her legs closed to men other then her husband/boyfriend. If you want to air shit like that then at least change the name and premise of the show.
My only problem with Leah is that she is on her second husband. I seen a comment on another blog that was spot on. Feminism didn’t give women any freedom. It just changed the life that they are forced into. Once upon a time a woman that didn’t fill the roll Leah is would have been ridiculed. Now she is ridiculed for being a “traditional” woman. It’s what she wants. I can only guess that she wants all her kids young for the same reason I’m having my second now. I didn’t plan to have my first at 18 but I did. College a career and whatever I want to pursue will always be there but the window to have my kids close together won’t be. I can only imagine she’s thinking the same thing. I guess I have sympathy for her because my life is closer to hers than any of the others. Except I would never dream about letting another and my kids are both by my husband. It’s like everyone expects teen parents to wait like 10 years to have another kid. As someone with a sister 12 years older than me I can tell you that it is really hard to bond. We hardly had a relationship at all until I became an adult and even now she can’t get it out of ehr head that I’m her “kid” sister. Hate on her for cheating on Corey and jumping into another marriage less than a year later but not for the kids. There are good reasons. Oh and it hasn’t been mentioned here but people give her shit for living in a trailer to. Again, I can related. It ain’t fancy but it’s in a good area and it’s affordable. When your other option is your moms or 1 bedroom apartments in shitty parts of town what would you pick?
I don’t hate on her for the kids really, but the fact is the twins were an uh oh, the 3rd baby was an uh oh, and I am willing to bet that this one was an uh oh as well. If you have had that many uh ohs at her age then there is a problem.
I don’t think they need to wait until 10 years to have another child, but I don’t think they need to be on a show about showing how hard it is being a Teen Mom when they aren’t showing how hard it is at all since they are basically just playing house at the expense of MTV. It has not shown her suffer due to getting pregnant at all other then having a child with a disability. She is still living in her little dream world where the man is going to take care of her while she does nothing. That is not the purpose of the show, she is not struggling or showing how hard it is having children at a young age.
I dislike Leah because she is a fool, plain and simple. No one has that many “uh-oh” pregnancies.. I mean majority of us took some form of sex ed, so that means majority of us should know how condoms and birth control work Leah seems to have totally missed any Sex Ed. I don’t fault her for wanting her kids young and close together but in that case she shouldn’t be on Teen Mom, she should be living her life without cameras on her. This show is supposed to prevent teen pregnancy not encourage it and giving these girls a butt load of money and new cars and fame (Maci was at the country music awards walking the red carpet.. WTF). My younger brother is a senior in HS and knows 3 freshman trying to get pregnant.. this show has run its course. In the least I think they need to counter teen mom shows with a show about girls who graduate school without getting pregnant and go to college and finish and have successful careers. I am not saying that as a teen parent you can’t do that but I think it is important to not encourage irresponsible behavior. Leah is irresponsible, jumping from dick to dick having babies.. she should be on Jerry Springer not MTV. Like I said I have nothing against teen moms and having your babies close together but I would rather finish school and have kids a little later and not worry as much as struggling than hurry into it. I personally just wouldn’t like being in my 30′s in college, it is weird to have people on campus who are wheeling their kids around or bringing them to class… It is just a distraction, and college is hard work for anyone. If it happens fine but to KEEP letting it happen is wrong to me. Thank goodness Leah found some poor fool who was desperate enough to marry her or she would be looking pretty stupid right now.. stupider actually.
I get that i just think people are to hard on her. People act like she’s on her 5th husband or something. Not people on this site in particular but all over the web.
Now that i think about it like that I can see how she would maybe make teen pregnancy look fun but it’s not that easy to be a stay at home mom. I mean I have to clean 3 times a day to keep my house looking presentable and I only have one child, she’s got 2. Yikes. Part of it is her but part of it is also what get aired. It’s so fake now. How about they show her trying to cook lunch with one twin hanging on her leg and the other pullin all the pots and pans out of the cabinet. If the show was really a documentary, as it claims to be, it would be much more effective.
Even Chelsea could help some if they wanted her to. I can’t think of how but I’m sure there’s something. Honestly I think Jenelle is the most helpful. Anyone that looks at her life and says OOHHH I want to live like that, had no hope to begin with.
Seriously Lisa, I think you hit the nail on the head. I feel bad for how hard I am on Leah, I got married at 19, divorced a year and a half later then remarried at 23 and have been married since. I got a LOT of flack for that, but of course those people don’t know my ex cheated on me with my best friend and I found out about it the day before I had to pull the plug on my mom for a terminal illness. I get the whole being young and wanting love and a family, especially when you have kids. So ok you hooked up with Cory on a rebound and got knocked up, whoops, legit. But then you get knocked up by Jeremy after 2 months of dating and you take out your IUD, I just want to shake her and ask her why the rush. I get not wanting to wait to have kids for another 10 years, totally get that, but for shit sakes do something with your life first. Nursing school is only 2 years, they won’t be THAT far apart in age. I am pretty much over this show at this point. Jesus fucking Christ Heather fix your fucking site. For some people though that is that far apart. Heck I think anything more than 3 years is to much. NOt for everyone but for me it was.
I agree wholeheartedly that she should not have jumped into a marriage with Jeremy. Thats the big thing I can’t stand. I don’t think people are hard enough on Leah, honestly. She’s given a pass way too often because she has twins and it’s irritating. I remember that AMA with the [ID verified] camera guy talking about her being a worse mother than Jenelle, the crew wanting to call CPS on her all the time, and how her house was always disgusting. I think it was last weeks episode where Corey was flipping the fuck out about Leah talking about doing laundry like he had just seen a unicorn – it said volumes about her. She’s not even a great mom and always looks like she’s just going through the motions with them. As much as I love to shit on Chelsea she’s at least really nurturing (the best from this group of girls tbh).
I intentionally didn’t mention the amount of pregnancies she’s gone through when talking about her marriages because that’s a whole different set of problems. She has some spectacular time management issues with the twins making her ~soooo busy~ she can’t do ~anything~. With a husband who spends a lot of time away from home because of his work and one of the girls needing special attention because of her disability … Leah having another child is the epitome of selfishness. She doesn’t give a shit about how it will affect her daughters as long as she has some marriage insurance. Fuck her.
People aren’t ridiculing Leah for being a traditional woman, at least not that I’ve seen. Feminism gives us the choice to shake our tatas, be a doctor, stay at home, have opinions, or do whatever else it is we want to do instead of being forced into one role. The judgement for Leah comes from a combination of a lot of things and most of them have to do with her stereotypical white trash lifestyle (and when I say lifestyle I don’t mean living in a trailer though that does play a part for some people, sadly. The cheating, her age, lazyness, fast ‘serious’ relationships and all that other shit she does) and how she treats being a stay at home mom NOT that she is one.
I don’t think all women need to be working full time and I think staying at home is a valid life choice. I do strongly believe all stay at home women should have a backup plan[*see note], but Leah shouldn’t be a stay at home mom because she’s not good at it. She’s bad at relationships. She’s lazy. Terrible combination for a SAHM. Her daughters would benefit a lot more from her working than the mediocre shit she’s doing now.
I don’t know a single stay at home mom that comes anywhere close to how bad she is at it. Seriously. Those women are all like superheroes to me. Then I watch Leah and it’s like she isn’t even trying. Being a stay at home mom is hard work; the house isn’t always going to be spotless, you aren’t always going to want to be around your kid, some days you will barely have time to take a shit. She pretends like she has all this going on, but that girl spends a lot of time on this show sitting on the couch picking at her nails.
She also watches her kids like I watch my dogs when I’m over it for the day, “Here’s a toy. Play and leave me alone”. Totally fine thing to do when you need to decompress because you’re stressed out, need some time to do something else or … dealing with animals, but that seems to be her default. Chelsea spends a lot of time on the couch too and I wish she’d get off of it, but at least she’s interacting with Aubrey and giving her affection constantly. That’s the whole point of being a SAHM and Leah is too damn lazy to even do that much.
Ha, went off on a rant and forgot I was trying to make a point somewhere. I wouldn’t take the criticism Leah gets as a reflection on you. She’s awful and not at all a representation of stay at home moms in general. It sucks someone so shitty gets to be rewarded for it with a TV show.
*Note: My mom had me at 16, didn’t graduate high school, was a stay at home mother, always said she’d get around to getting a GED and a degree and never did because of one thing or another. Then my dad died unexpectedly when I was 18. I haven’t spoken to her since he passed away all those years ago (see Farrah for all you need to know). Found out from my brother recently she still hasn’t recovered financially, doesn’t have her own place and is still living with family. That’s really sad.
Make some time for one online class a semester and slowly work your way to a degree or some kind of job skill even if you don’t plan on working because life is too unpredictable not to. No one should have to go through what my mom is going through and it’s so much easier to get it done before it becomes a necessity.

The only thins I would make a note of are that if her home was really that filthy or the girls were in danger cps would have been involved. It’s what happened with Amber. I don’t believe the camera man 100%. I mean he was freaking out about the kids eating off the floor. I’m like mofo I ate bugs and dirt and I was fine. Shut the heck up. Besides anyone who has ever babysat a toddler knows that they can even manage to spill the “unspillable” bowls. Mine can at least. I think he was being dramatic and exaggerating. Plus Corey is a little douche bag. I think he was flipping out about the laundry cause he’s a petty bitch. Although I recall an episode where she was upset with him for doing half the dishes but not all of them. That annoyed me. Hw works, you don’t. Do the fucking dishes. The only things my husband does is take out the trash and bleach the tub because bleach plus unborn baby is bad. I don’t think she’s a good as a housewife as I am (tooting my own horn) but I don’t think her kids are playing in a trash pile like that dude made it seem.
Also just cause we see her on the couch for most of the show doesn’t mean thats where she spends all her time. Staged convos and whatnot. We see what we want.

As far as the back up plan. I do agree. The only reason I haven’t enrolled is because I can’t figure out what the heck I want to go for. She has. She needs to get her butt in gear.
I don’t get how you so avidly support Leah lol… I mean it baffles me. She isn’t the devil, I know, but she is just trash.. Maybe I don’t get her because she and I are going in totally different directions but I just could never see myself raising my future children to behave like she does.

I jsut have faith for her. Her and I want the same things. I was just lucky enough to get it. I mean I am a lot smarter than her, for example if 3 girls were yelling bullshit to me I would not get out of the car to fight them, but I understand wanting nothing more than a family. We have different definitions of trashy i guess. I think trash is like Jenelle or Vee smoking and drinking and partying. I hate it when people that don’t have kids party all the time. Thats trash to me.

I don’t mean anyone who does party and have fun at all is trashy. I just mean the people that do i all the time like Jenelle or Vee. I’ve been to clubs myself and if an adult wants to drink they can go for it but when someone is drinking on a regular basis or smoking pot all the time or doing other drugs I think it’s trashy. Jenelle is far far worse than Vee in that aspect but I have seen vee refer to herself as a “bad bitch” which makes me want to cut her. I’ve never ever heard a single girl call herself that and not be flat out ghetto trash.

NO it’s perfectly fine to indulge sometimes, even more so if you don’t have children it’s just that soooo many people take it to far. My rule is if someone says they are drinking and i think “omg AGAIN” OR if they are underaged and bragging about how “crunk” they are going to get tonight and post pictures with alcohol bottles or pot they are trashy.

IIRC they are contractually obligated not to contact CPS/get involved, not uncommon for the type of filming they do. It’s why they did nothing when Farrah left Sophia on a bed unsupervised and she fell off. And why it took the power of the internet to get CPS involved with Amber and Geeeearrry.
Eating off the floor is w/e. My parents actively encouraged or didn’t stop some gross stuff when I was little. I hardly ever washed my hands, ate boogers ~they did tell me to do it in private, they weren’t uncivilized~, ate a few bugs too … I remember ants being spicy. There wasn’t an ounce of hand sanitizer in our home either because they were trying to beef up my immune system. I’m going to do the same thing with my kids because I can’t remember the last time I was sick – dgaf if people think it’s gross. My husband gets sick all the time and his parents didn’t let him eat his boogers. So there. (I don’t even know where I was going with this so I have to re-read … oh right) I took Corey freaking about laundry as conformation of her terrible housekeeping skillz since bits of it was already in the show and the camera man went on about it. I don’t know anyone who reacts that way to something if it wasn’t already an on-going issue. I don’t want to make accusations about her lazyness without enough proof.
I don’t agree that people who don’t have kids are trashy for enjoying that time. I never got into clubs myself, but I have my own ways of having fun that I will never do again once I have a child because that would be trashy and irresponsible. All I have to worry about right now is my husband and pets. I suspect one of my cats understands more than I give him credit for because he always looks at me like he’s judging me, but he’s a cat and can’t talk so it’s nbd.
Nightmaremoon, omfg I know! It made me so mad. I hate people who get on about government assistance like that because it is there for people who need it. I don’t give a shit that my tax dollars are supporting a very small number of people abusing the system because the people who do need it far out number them. I’m also not an asshole who wants to take food and shelter away from families already struggling. Going to stop here before I get into a 10 page rant about the people wanting to get rid of it more often than not are the same people against cheap/available contraception and abortion. Care about the babies already in the world and not what women choose to do with their bodies, you jackasses. (I have a lot of feels tonight you guys)

I think government assistance should be a hang up not a hand out. As long as people don’t take advantage of it it doesn’t make me mad. Also I can only speak for myself but for me birth control and abortion are 100% different. I think birth control should absolutely be affordable but I don’t think women “deserve” to get it for free. I mean I pay for my health insurance and still had to pay 30 bucks for my nuvaring and there are hundreds of women on government insurance getting the same thing for free. It bugs me.
ohmyglob – I was the same way as a kid. I was always with my animals and tromping around in the dirt. Dust off the big chunks and you’re good to go. I have never used hand sanitizer and don’t use antibacterial soaps. I raise my kid the same. We get sick about once a year and fight it off ourselves. Compared to some people who get bedridden with the flu we get maybe a runny nose and cough for a few days. No flu shots or antibiotics either. :)
Yeah to hell with the flu shot and all that wash your hands crap. I wash my hands when they’re dirty and my kids will do the same. Some people just want to hide under a freaking rock and hope the big bad germs don’t come to get them. It’s like they have never heard of antibodies.

I want to say one thing about Leah, well two. 1) Why can’t she keep her legs closed? She get knocked up with the girls after being Corey for a month and then she got pregnant with her miscarriage baby after being with Jeremy for 2months. Trashy if you ask me. and 2)She took her IUD OUT, so why was her miscarriage blamed on her birth control? She trapped Jeremy, IMO. She’s trash just like Jenelle, only she doesn’t do drugs.
