MTV pulls the plug on one 16 & Pregnant Season 4 girl.
Before the episode even aired, MTV has decide to crack down on girls who may alter the message they are trying to send to young girls.
The girl, who will remain nameless, was actually a relative of the Kardashian clan and would have likely had quite a bit of clout when her episode aired, however word somehow got back to MTV that she may be pregnant and they called her last night to tell her that, because of her second pregnancy, they would not be airing her episode.
After Season 3 being a mess and a half and having to deal with issues they didn’t know they’d have to, MTV is seriously cracking down on girls not practicing safe sex, or those who may just be in it for the attention and fame. A source close to the production noted that MTV keeps track of girls trying to make a name for themselves before their episodes air, and that they are not fond of it.
The nameless cast member is not proud of getting pregnant again so soon, but realizes that she is part of a very large statistic of teen mothers who get pregnant again within the first year of having a child. She is currently in a relationship with the father and will be doing the best she can to provide for both of her children.
i know theyre tyring to prevent teen pregnancy with these shows, but i think they shouldve kept her on and maybe even put her on teen mom 3.
it annoys me that they shut down tm3 party because jordan became pregnant again. i dunno i just think that it would be another interesting story/point of view that id be interested in watching
I also think they should show the struggles of a teen mom going through the struggles of a second pregnancy. There are so many girls who are already teen mothers that watch the show. Maybe thats something they could take away from the show-not to get pregnant a second time.

Well I think it probably just sends the wrong message; I mean, disregarding the argument that she supposedly got pregnant again to become more famous, because that seems to be more here say. I know everyone debates about how much the girls make on these shows but if this girl had her episode aired and like you said, maybe did get on teen mom 3 (if there is going to be one) then ultimately, its easy to assume MTV would probably be financially supporting this teen mom and her 2 babies. And with her being related to the kardashians, who have plenty of money to throw around without a care in the world, I could see where this would send the wrong message. A lot of people question how much reality is shown in the teen mom’s episodes now because of their undisclosed paychecks amoounts. Most teen mothers have to do it all on their own without the assistance of MTV or the benefits of having a grossly rich family. So just thinking of it that way, and purely speculating, I could see where MTV just thought her story wouldn’t necessarily show the trueness of teen motherhood.
The only reason I think it kinda sucks that shes not gonna be on it, is because she DID get pregnant again, and its most likely not on purpose and I think it would have been nice if they did show it because yes, accidents DO happen and at least shes taking care of her child and planning on taking care of the second
A few of the girls who appeared on 16 & Pregnant but not teen mom have all said publicly that they made $5000 for appearing on the episode. Teen Mom receives more but everyone reports differently on that.
There is probably more to this story than meets the eye. Probably some more undisclosed information as to why this girl was removed from the show. Even if she is pregnant again I doubt it is the only reason. If this girl really is a Kardashian relative, a family member or even the E! network could have stepped in and influenced the decision (everyone knows how much the Kardashians love the Teen Mom franchise). No one but MTV can really say why they pulled her but I doubt they would ever release that informatino.
Starcasm recently did an article on another girl who was removed from the show. They said because her brother said inappropriate things in an interview. But again, no one but MTV knows the whole truth.
I think this is stupid that they took her off because she got pregnant again.. if mtv really wanted to make a statement, they would show the girls who did get pregnant again to show how serious of an issue it is. It may be hard while all fun a games for some teenagers with one child… But to add in a second baby, having to take cause of two young children under the age of 2 or 3 and how costs sky rocket even more cause you have two young children… I find this ridiculous that they would do it. Ok take her off, make a episode for all of the teen moms that have got pregnant again, show how serious it honestly is.

MTV DOES show people who have 2 kids/had a second baby. They’ll be showing Jordan Ward in the “Where are they Now?” episode, and Leah is on Teen Mom 2. I applaud their decision. Perhaps MTV wrote it in that these girls couldn’t get pregnant while under contract with them. I believe Megan McConnell said that she was under contract with MTV for a year after her show aired, so I don’t think it’s that unbelievable/outrageous that MTV would require the girls stay on birth control after the Jordan Ward incident.
the jordan ward incident? jordan was married and financially responsible when they got pregnant again… i wouldnt really call that an incident. i dont see anything wrong with having another baby if you are financially responsible for them. my fiance and i are young, we’re 20 and we have a 16 month old and 3 month old. we live on our own, work hard, im in school, and we get no assistance from family or government. im glad that i had my children young, and wouldnt change anything at all. i wouldn’t call jordan’s experiences an “incident”

Kia Pence is the girl that Starcasm reported about. Allegedly she got kicked off because her brother said some inappropriate things in an interview. She is not pregnant again. If this girl Heather is talking about is real it’s someone else. And if she really is a Kardashian relative, I have a strong suspicion they have something to do with her not being on the show anymore.
I feel sorry for girls who have multiple kids young. Rysmama2010, I’m glad it’s working out for you. But please realize that you are in the minority. Most young moms, especially those with multiple kids, are statistically more likely to live in poverty and have a whole slew of other problems. You should be really proud of yourself because most very young mothers are on welfare, have trouble finishing high school much less college, the fathers don’t stick around, etc. It’s much better for a child if the mother waits until she is older, married, and financially secure to have children. (Again, in MOST cases. Yours doesn’t sound the same.)
summer, yes i realize that i am definitely in the minority…. im really thankful for that. their father and i really do love each other and just work together to succeed. im starting nursing school in the fall and cant wait til i am done to be able to support our family even more. there are so many avenues that you can take advantage of besides welfare… for example, being in school is honestly not as hard as it sounds when you are a young mom. most of my pre reqs i have been able to take online. financial aid allows me to go, and i also have gotten a small loan to help out. there are a lot of ways you can be on your own when you have a child young….

heather isnt talking about kia, thats anothr girl who claimed she also got kicked off. kia’s “fanpage” states she got kickked of because of something her bro said in their interviews they sent to mtv an he forgot to edit it out. but they look at interviews before they pick the cast so i doubt she got “kicked off”. her brother probably said she tried to get pregnant or wanted to be on the show to be famous which is why she want picked for season 4. in her mind they kicked her off, but they probably never filmed her. and why would she have a fanpage made when nobody even knows who she is and she was never on the show.
Good question but the girls from season 3 had fan pages before their shiws aired as well. Katie Yeager has a fan page. I wouldnt be suprised if all the other girls have them as well. I think MTV had chosen Kia at first because it had to be more than she applied and they didn’t pick her. I looked on goole and pics of her came up. She had to be affiliated witu MTV somehow.
I have no idea how the selection/elimination process works but Danielle had a fan page LOONNNGG before her episode aired and posted things about MTV being at her baby shower so I think they would know.
I’m really excited to see the Lindsey Harrison girl! She looks different (aka no tattoos/facial piercings) and she’s from the west (I think Nevada/Colorodo area), and I like the name she picked for her little girl (Aniyah). Plus, her fan page isn’t as filled up as the other 3, and I think the girls who don’t plaster everything on their fanpages have the most interesting stories. Plus you can tell they weren’t just in it to get famous, they really wanted to share their stories.

OH HOW SHOCKING A KARDASHIAN RELATIVE TRYING TO GET ON TV(sarcasm). NOT!!!!!! typical fame whores that family will do anything for fame no matter what kim is what made the family into hollywood because she was a whore and made a sex tape and it got leaked. and because their stepfather was a athlete. the question is WHAT WONT THESE KARDASHIANS DO FOR FAME??? that family needs to disapear. what ever happend to people being famous for actually having talent?. good thing she was booted from the show MTV knows how those kardashians are i wonder what they will come up with next to try and find more ways for fame. This kinda makes no sense….it is EXACTLY what happened to Markai (sp?) and they didn’t pull her, they did a “special” about her abortion. I think there must be more to the story than just her getting pregnant again.
I think she may be Lexi Nicole Moore. Of course she said she “dropped out” but can you do that under contract? She also kind of resembles the Kardashian Family.
When does a new round of 16 and pregnant start for I am only seeing reruns and dont even know what season their from. so does anyone know if theres going to be another season and what season that will be and when will it start, any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks
I think they should have left her on the show, I myself was a teen mom and I got preg again when my first baby was 6 months old, it would have showed girls how had it would be to take care of more than one baby, one is hard but two and more is a whole different ball park.
