Leah Messer-Calvert’s Husband Makes More Than She Does!
People started wondering how Leah was able to pay for a beautiful new home on top of her brand new Ford Explorer, and many began bashing her saying things like, MTV was paying her bills, or that she’s not saving, but Leah was very quick to correct those assuming.
Leah says that her husband, Jeremy, makes 19 THOUSAND dollars a MONTH! WHAT!? I believe he works a few weeks at a time on oil rigs in Pennsylvania, and apparently it pays out the butt! Leah and jeremy have been talking about buying a house on a farm with a pond, and even an RV to take the family to Pennsylvania when Jeremy has to work!

My boyfriend works the pipelines also.. He makes around 2 grand every two weeks. $19,000 a month is a bit ridiculous.

It bothers the crap out of me that people have refered to her buying a house and a family car as blowing her mtv checks. Whats she suposed to do let it sit in the bank and not touch it? Wtf else is money for if not to spenfld on things you need?
My husband has worked in the oilfield for years and we have only seen one check that high. Its possible Jeremy might have made $19000 in a month. Its also possible he went the next 2 or three months without working. Typically, only high up supervisors and company men would make that much every month. I think she is exaggerating when she says he makes that every month.
Sunshiiine it depend on te job they do. Jeremy is in engineer. If your boyfriend is a helper, journeyman, operator, or welder then yes…they aren’t going to make as much.
Who cares how much money he makes? Seriously. All hard-working people deserve to do whatever they please with their money. At least they are buying things for their family, ie. a house and a car. They could be blowing it on boobs and booze. And all praise goes to Jeremy for providing for his family.
People are STUPID! If people that worked in the oil rigs made that much money why would anyone go to college? That’s about as UNSKILLED as you can get! GED is all you need! They can afford what they have because of MTV so she should keep the comments about government aid to herself. In a couple of years when no one cares about her life anymore and Teen Mom gets cancelled her hillbilly ass will be on government aid herself.

Honestly think it is hilarious that all of you think you have any idea what these guys make…It is quite apparent none of you have actually ever known anyone in the oil field. My husband is a directional driller and has been in the field roughly 12 years. He has his high school diploma and never even considered college. Hold your breath ladies, he brings home between $22-36,000 per month depending on how many days he works. YES UP TO THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND. She didn’t make a mistake. Just because someone doesn’t have a college degree doesn’t mean they are unskilled and unintelligent. I am a doctoral candidate would never have the audacity to put hard working men down and assume they are stupid because of their line of work, I will however cast my own judgements on you all. Grow up ladies, envy green is one ugly color.

My husband works in the oil patch and made 30k in two months. So it is highly likely her husband can make that much. You all are pathetic because you all are ignorant and automatically think someone is lying because you have no clue about the industry. My husband does have a degree but in the oil patch it is not important. Cheers little jealous girlies.
It is 100% likely that he made that much in a month. I work for a gas pipeline contractor and we pay pipeline engineers similar wages. And a pipeline engineer is not the same as an engineer with a degree. They are highly skilled–no education needed. The market is volatile, and offten they are far from home, working 60-80 hours a week in the middle of nowhere. And the jobs are rarely permanent. However, these skilled people are highly desirable and can usually find new jobs when one ends.
Also, we have laborers who hardly speak english making more than me with a college degree from the best university in my region. Don’t put down people because they aren’t your idea of successful. There’s a good chance that Mexican construction worker is making more money that you.
Everyone here who claims this Jeremy Calvert makes that much and their husbands make that much are white trailer trash devils. Please let the IRS audit these uneducated waste sorry excuse for a human beings. For every white trash who believes this 15-40 thousand dollar a month take home pay can just get off the Internet and try and get a hulk hogan tan on your 500+ft yachts off of Cannes, Monaco, St Tropez with peasants like Khalifa Bin Zayed, Larry Ellison, Roman Abramovich, David Geffen, or Paul Allen. Otherwise prove me wrong and show me your W2′s!!!!

HAHAHAHA, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such jealousy.
1) Never in my life have I lived in a trailer lol…that alone made me giggle. The judgements you cast speak volumes to your character. and trash? No. I am completing my DOCTORAL DEGREE. What level of education have you attained? With the ignorance you are displaying, I am confident to say that you are certainly lower class than I.
2) I will gladly send you a copy of our pay stubs – give me the email to send it to.
3) The IRS can audit at any point. Actually we welcome it. We pay our taxes and hire a damn good accountant to ensure all is well. Just the amount we have to pay in taxes is more than most people make in a year, and we do so without complaint as our tax dollars go to fund welfare rats and all of those who feel they are entitled to everything they want for nothing.
4) Yes, we vacation often and absolutely love the islands. =) We also have a GTR (sports car) that is only taken out when we go on dates (here is a link – so you can see what it looks like. You call us trash, but one thing I would NEVER do is trade you check books! =)
