Farrah Makes a Unibrow VIDEO – Not Kidding.
Can we ask why Sophia is chillin’ by herself outside of the bathroom while her mom makes a video inspired by the fact that her mom plucked her 4 year old unibrow in her sleep?
Could she not take down the giant leopard bra in the background?
Did she really need to add the soundtrack of her own “singing” to this?
Too much awful. Tweet me your thoughts @TheRealHeatherC

LOL how funny look at her cartoonish fake unibrow and chin. Ok take them off now Farrah…. oh shit the chin doesn’t come off? Yikes…
that was actually a really cute and fun video. Usually Farrah has been super awkward and rigid in her videos but she was actually pretty fluid and fun to watch. Got especially cute with Sophia at the end!! She’s talking so well lol and she’s so silly. Look at how happy that little girl is and how well spoken. Anyone who says Farrah is a bad mom needs to lighten up. Nobody is perfect and everybody parents differently. As long as she’s doing what she thinks is best and is loving, that’s what matters. I’m sure every parent in the world has a quirk that that public would RIP APART if they were in Farrah’s position, but on a human level. It’s fine.
Cute vid!
Hahaha Hayzii you are amazing. This girl is as shallow and selfish as they come. Poor Sophia is probably going to have WICKED self esteem problems when she gets older. Farrah needs to grow up and stop being so superficial. yeah it may be funny however its not sending a good message. She needs parenting classes.
Farrah and my mom could be the same person. Holy shit.
I’m sorry, Sophia. :(
I’m really excited for Sophia’s future tell-all book. It’s going to be great. I wonder when she will realize how terrible her mother really is.
“My Childhood Dream Ended” by Sophia Abraham
Why would people ask her for makeup tips? Her makeup always sucks.
Ugh. Girl makes me want to gag. wtf is up with her eye brows?? Does she draw them on?
did anyone notice before Sophia comes in she says “i dont wana do my unibrow!”…
so my guess she thought mom was guna wax her again!
can she die already
Nightmaremoon Yeah I noticed that too! Poor thing :(
Omg sophia is adorable. I don’t think its a big deal she plucked her eyebrow but what I don’t like is that everyone has to know about it and she won’t stop talking about it. Quit publicly humiliating your daughter. No one needs to know you plucked her eyebrow in her sleep not even her. She has some things to work on but all in all shes still not a bad mom. And again sophia is so beautiful and funny I hope she tells her this all the time!
oh and for some one who talks about eyebrows so much hers suck. They are too far apart and they go from super thick to super thin.
Bet shes gonna get Botox for them smile lines! lol
she can parent however she wants to, but sorry, i draw the line where it’s hurting your child for the sake of perceived “beauty.”
Everyone saying Farrah is not a bad mom is crazy. This girl is superficial and was partying all the time when Sophia was born, moved to a different state without her daughter and is always doing something other than paying attention to Sophia. Girl is toxic.
Not gonna Lie. I found this completely hilarious…which I’m sure is how it was intended.
Holy hell I hate to admit this but this actually made me laugh, especially her using her own crappy songs as soundtrack lmao. Sadly Farrah did have a point that she isn’t as bad as the “Toddlers and Tiaras” moms…
What a train wreck! I feel sorry for Sophia because her Mom needs some serious help. Let me pluck my child’s uni-brow but here’s mine because it’s “hip.”
I was much too distracted by Farrah’s huge zit on her forehead to notice her eyebrows. And, seriously, if poor Sophia walked in and said she didn’t want her unibrow done, it obviously traumatized her to.a certain degree and I doubt it was painless as Farrah has claimed.
you are all so critical. Id LOVE to be a fly on the wall and pick apart how ridiculous you all are in your lives with your kids.
The psycho tried to wax her kids eyebrows and when that failed because soph freaked out she plucked them anyways. Theres nothing to pick apart. It’s all laid out in front of us.
THEN she called it “proper hygiene” and is now actin like everyone ELSE is outrageous.
You are outrageous and your defensive chirp back tells me that being a fly on your wall would be too much for me. I do not want to know what type of BS goes on in your home!!
What else is outrageous is that’s its socially acceptable to give your kids fastfood, KD, Candy, sugary cereal, Packaged and Boxed foods, – pierce theirs ears, circumcise them, but DO NOT PLUCK A UNIBROW!!!! Gimme a freaking Break!!! Don’t throw stones when you live in glass houses people. Hypocrisy at its best!!
BAHAHAHAH I DON’T pluck my childs eyebrows them claim it has something to do with cleanliness so I am awful and there must be terrible things going on in my home. Fucking helicopter parent.
If being a helicopter parent is someone that doesn’t do the things I described in my comment then HELL YA im a helicopter parent and PROUD of it!
its funny too that you say “helicopter parent” in reference to my comment like its a negative thing to not give the things I listed or do the things listed to my child. Yet another example of how the world is going to shit and how OUTRAGEOUS most ppl are now a days.
I’m on the fence about the foods honestly. My kid has had wendys chicken nuggets a couple times and anytime we have it she gets a fry or 2. A little bit of candy here and there is fine and if you deprive your child of sugary cereals or the wonders of mac n cheese and hotdogs I feel bad for them. As long as kids eat mostly healthy food a little bit of junk is not going to hurt. The only thing I am firm on is pop. Acid on new teeth is not happening in my house.
Ear piercing only hurt for a second and it’s safe to assume a little girl will want them someday. I didn’t hav e my daughters done but it doesn’t bug me when other people to. Rubber bands in infant hair bugs me more than that. Eyebrows will grow back and there is no way that little girl asked for them to be waxed. there is no reason to do it other than mamma didn’t think her baby looked perfect.
I believe wholeheartedly in circumcision personally. Maybe for some people it’s cosmetic but for me it’s just flat out sanitary. No junk funk for my son.
What is hypocritical is that you defend the eyebrow waxer and then condemn the ear piercers.
oh and I can’t really describe a helicopter parent. Go treat yourself to a movie night and see parental guidance. Great portrayal and a cute movie.
Never did I defend eyebrow plucking of a toddler. I simply stated a fact regarding what is socially accepted in todays society and what is not. There is no room for JUNK in a child’s diet. they are growing and developing. What you feed them now will teach them what to eat as adults. If it was made in a lab don’t eat it! IF you cant pronounce the ingredient list, don’t eat it. Do you realized what preservatives alone are doing to north american society? There is a reason were all dying from cancer, heart disease and obesity. Treat yourself to a movie, or two, hell even three! Hunger for a change, Food Matters, Fat, sick and Nearly Dead. Do it for your family.
FUCKING HELICOPTER PARENT!!!!!!!! Honey if you don’t want your kids eating sugar and crap every now and then you better hide them in a hole. Do you realize that cancer was around LONG before crap food and we all grew up eating it and we are all perfectly fine. As a matter of fact my mom grew up on a farm and everything she ate was so fresh she probably killed it herself that morning and she got cancer TWICE. LIGHTEN UP YOU FREAKING PSYCHO! You seriously don’t let your kids eat any sugar!! What about their birthdays?? Don’t you let them have a cake?? Frosted animal crackers even?? You just wait til they get ahold of anything sweet, which they WILL, they will be bouncing off the walls. Just because a kid eats a freaking cookie now and then doesn’t mean they are going to be obese and have heart disease. It’s called getting your kids out from in front of the television or computer and taking them OUTSIDE. The problem with modern parents isn’t food it’s laziness and technology. I seen a TABLET for a TODDLER the other day. Give your kids cookies and cake and candy then send them outside to run it all off. They’ll be fine. i promise. hippie.
Wow! Temper temper!! hahaha Defensive much!! There is a difference between holiday/Birthday sweets and what you are giving your kid(s)! Education is key. You clearly are lacking it. Good luck in 20 years.
Do yourself a favour a really watch those movies. But you wont will you….because then you;d have to admit there is something wrong with your mind frame.
Proud loving mother=Hippie & Helicopter Parent!!! My heads held High and am over the moon proud!
Yeah good luck to you when your kids hate you for sheltering them. All youare doing is hurting them in the long run. No one the obsesses that much over a cookie stop at food. Honey do your children a favor and stop trying to prove that you’re a better parent than everyone else cause all you are doing is hurting them and yourself. I promise you in 20 years my children will be perfectly healthy and not scared of the world like your kids will be.
Oh and just for you. We are having pb&j and goldfish for lunch. Oh white bread! The horror we’re going to get fat and then get cancer!!!
I’m going to have to add Forks Over Knives to your movie list Lisa… seriously. Bragging about feeding your kid that crap is not cute. =\
Forks over knives is def. another great one! Thanks for adding Hayzii!
-I feel terrible for her child(ren).
I used to feed my kid that crap too. I thought I was doing the right thing. I mean it’s “kids food” so it must be healthy right? Not. I’ve learned a lot about diet in the last few years and have made big changes. You have to have an open mind and be un-brainwashed. Honestly Lisa when you said your Mom grew up on a farm I knew your next sentence was going to be that she had cancer.
On a lighter note – I actually thought of you and started cracking the fuck up when I saw this picture, Lisa. www (DOT) facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=596212847072033&set=pb.224319224261399.-2207520000.1359836787&type=3&theater
Thats just it Hayzii! We all have to start somewhere! We are not perfect, but we can continue to educate ourselves and move forward. “we are what we eat”
I have seen plenty of propaganda films before. I don’t need to see anymore. I am not going to convince my children that the world is trying to kill them. Everything “causes” cancer nowsdays.
My point about my mom is that she never ever had pre packaged food. I was not ecagerating about her and her siblings having to kill all their own food. Everything she ate growing up was organic and fresh and yadda yadda and she still got sick.
And I can’t see the pic on my phone.
Seriously what the hell do you feed your kids? Tofu and soy beans?
Well tonight we are having Fish fillets with dill and lemon, with an avacado romaine salad on the side and corn. For dessert we are having homemade freezer pops made from fresh fruit juiced we juiced ourselves in a juicer. My poor kid…So deprived….LOL
No, i do not eat tofu or soya products.
There is a homemade healthy version to everything.
As for your mother, I have no idea her circumstances, but to take one example and model your entire belief system on processed foods, preservatives etc is ridiculous.
The movies we referenced for you are NOT propaganda movies. Please do your future a favour and give them a try. You don’t even have to tell anyone!!!! Just watch them. You can secretly thank me later.
Eh, whatever. Darwinism. Yeah man. More tofu and soy beans for me. ;)
And have you seen the propaganda film about for all the murcury in fish is killing us? There’s plenty of twisted words and “proof” in that one to. Don’t ask me what it was called cause I don’t remember but it was just as stupid as the one about wheat products killing us. Or cell phones. Or lip gloss, that one was funny.
Mercury.
And fruit is not dessert. Fruit is a snack. Give your kid a damn cookie. Bake it yourself with whole wheat flour and all that but fruit can only be dessert if it is on ice cream.
I fucking love vanilla flavored soy and almond milk, ugh, it’s so delicious. I can’t drink cow milk anymore because of it.
What’s everyone’s meal plan for today?!
For breakfast I had a smoothie made out of; frozen blueberries, almond milk, 4 tablespoons of freshly ground flax seed, a tablespoon of Justin’s Original Almond Butter, and a tablespoon of full fat yogurt. My husband had cottage cheese topped with some apricot jam. We both had coffee with soy milk, powdered creamer, and sugar – I love to indulge for my morning coffee.
For lunch I made mushroom and artichoke soup with sun-dried tomatoes, carrots, some sausage, and other soupy making ingredients. omnom it also satisfies my weekend lazy because I can make a huge pot of it then portion it out into freezer baggies for two people and have lunch ready to go for 3-4 more weekends.
For dinner I’m making pork loin stuffed with manchego cheese and membrillo jelly with a gigantic pile of sauteed zucchini on the side.
For in-between meal snacks I go with either; string cheese, a small handful of nuts (soooo many nuts in my freezer), a huge handful of frozen fruit if it’s hot out, or a spoonful of almond butter.
Desserts: I eat dessert maybe twice a month because I don’t crave sweets and I’m not normally hungry after dinner, but when I do I don’t discriminate. Corn syrup, fresh, preservatives, home-made, prepackaged, don’t care – gimme gimme gimme.
We had multi grain cherrios and yogurt for breakfast. A couple hours later my daughter ate a bunch of blue berries ( she eats them likee candy lol) pb&j and goldfishes for lunch. We went out to dinner. I had steak and potatos and she had about 3 bites of chicken, wouldn’t eat anything but corn until I got my cake, then shared, my cake.
I rarely eat dessert after dinner but I have a massive sweet tooth. Me and sugar are friends lol. I had to tone it down after I had her cause my metabolism slowed down and I was getting kinda chubby.
Btw I was serious about the wheat cookies. I make them with wheat flour cause they just taste better. Store bought sweets make me sad cause I make them way better. Plus you can’t buy brownies with cashews.
Oh Lisa… I’ve said it before ill say it again, educate yourself!! Ahhh till next time…. Lol bye.
Ermagerd food is killing us we have to eat all organic foods and never have sugar or we’ll all get cancer and die. Happy?
Wowsers, I go away for a couple days and here come the flames lol. I am so vain ;). Food I have such strong opinions about food. I am a HUGE fan of Michael Pollen, AMAZING author that can really give you insight into whats up with food these days. I like to follow his guidelines. I refuse to buy anything processed and have very little sugar in my house. If I want ice cream I have to go out and get a cone, everything in moderation. It is hard to really be healthy these days with GMO and all the bullshit the government is doing to our food. So pretty much I cook ALL the time which bites, but it is better. Did you ladies know that every 8 seconds (that’s 10,000 times a day) your body fights off a cancerous event? Amazing eh? Anyways I believe in doing what I can to keep my body fighting off those cancerous event. I absolutely go ape shit when I am at Walmart and see the ever present hispanic family with the ultra mega fat ass kids eating those little pies and swishing it down with soda. And then they wonder “why am I diabetic” SMH
I can tell you, they dont speak english(parents) and grew up with nothing so they dont want to deny there chidren anything. My Mexican husband HATES them so much, and we watched those movies and eat heathy enough here (of course now my kid is eating pasta for breakfast lol) But we dont have a lot of money and this week happens to be a (what we call) WIC week (if you get it good for you) Most of the time i make nice heathy meals and lots of the food is organic or natral bla bla but i still have lollipops and pizza and juicy juice, the funny thing is she hate frozen food if i try to give it to her.
But I think Some of the messeges in the movies are lost big time after watching so many of them there is nothing left to eat! Half of these movies want you to go vegan of vegateran and that is just mean, I make my pizza at this point but i am not taking away my kids turkey pepperoni!
Moderation is the key to life in my opinion. I will never obsess over every ingredient in everything we eat and I love sugar but there is a line that should not be crossed. If you eat fast food more than twice a month, if your kids drink pop all the freakin time, if they ask for a snack and you automatically think cookies. I honestly think that an obese child is an abused one. I once watch a baby that could not be more than 9 months old chug mt. dew from her bottle. The dumb ass mom didn’t even have the decency to water it down or anything. Like I said above I am a pop Nazi. I don’t drink it myself and I nearly murdered my husbands grandma when i found out she gave it to my daughter. I seriously yelled so loud the neighbor about a quarter mile down the road came over with his gun cause he thought someone was getting hurt. Although that was more because I told her before she babysat that she’s not allowed to have pop. If some older kids get it in small amounts it doesn’t bug me though.
Rene, you deal with cancer for a living so I’m more inclined to listen to you over propaganda but like you said cancer is everywhere. If we avoided every single thing that has been linked to cancer we would be in a bubble than they would link that dang bubble to cancer.
Nightmare you could try using french bread instead of pizza dough. Less carby according to my dads nutritionalist (he’s 450 lbs so his doctor is picky about what he eats). Homemade pizza is the shit though. The one thing I agree with helicopter up there about is that there is a homemade version to everything and it normally tastes way better. I keep the packaged stuff on hand for nights that I don’t have a lot of time or all the bills are due at once or when my husband cooks cause he could not handle a home cooked meal lol.
There are so many things that “cause” cancer, and what is sad is 80% of them are in our air, our lunch containers, you name it. That new car smell everyone loves so much? Yeah those are carcinogens. I don’t smell a new car I smell cancer lol. I actually REALLY liked Forks over Knives as well as the Micheal Pollen books. Like anything though, the more research you do the more contradiction you find. You see the Paleo diet has you eating nothing but meat and veggies all day every day where the forks over knives diet is vegan with no fat whatsoever. Extremes… SMH. Goodness fuck these re-directs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
^ thats what I said! If you watch to many of those movies, you will go on the AIR DIET!!!!!
Speaking of vegans. How the hell are they healthy?? I don’t get it. I mean I don’t see a moral problem with it but we are human. We are omnivores by nature. Our bodies are supposed to eat meat. I don’t get how everyone that doesn’t eat it doesn’t get anemic. Do they take vitamins or something? Every time I meet someone thats vegetarian or vegan it’s like seeing a pig fly lol. I’m like…but but bacon……
btw vitamins are supposed to cause cancer to. Even prenatals.
oh and type your comments in notepad then copy/paste.
With chrome I can just hit the back button and everything I typed will be there, but thanks for the tip :). As for how are vegans healthy. LOTS of variety. See you shouldn’t have to take a multivitamin, you should be eating enough variety to obtain all nutrients you need from your diet, but that is easier said than done. Vegans eat a lot of fruits, veggies, and brown rice, quinoa, barley etc. I have tried to go vegan, but since I am allergic to soy it leaves me fully deprived of anything I like such as cheese and ice cream (which I rarely eat but don’t take that little bit away from me dammit). It is possible but it HARD to be healthy and vegan, you have to be meticulous as hell with planning a balanced diet and learn to love new things. I personally am semi-vegetarian, only eat maybe 1 serving of meat every other week, maybe some fish but other than that I do eat a mostly vegan diet with the exception of yogurt and cheese. It really is something to look into, but you can’t take all this too literally or it does turn into propaganda leaving you overwhelmed with conflicting info and not knowing WTH to do. I go by a simple rule, if it comes in a box, no way!
Lisa, Human beings are not “meant” to eat meat. I am vegan. I love when people think it’s so extreme. I eats fruits, veggies, grains, legumes etc. and you eat DEAD BODIES, cow’s puss and blood filled breastmilk, and chicken periods. That is fucking extreme and disgusting.
All of the following nutritional benefits come from a vegan diet full of foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, beans, and soy products.
Reduced saturated fats. Dairy products and meats contain a large amount ofsaturated fats. By reducing the amount of saturated fats from your diet, you’ll improve your health tremendously, especially when it comes to cardiovascular health.
Carbohydrates. Carbohydrates provide energy for your body. When you don’t have enough carbohydrates, your body will burn muscle tissue.
Fiber. A diet high in fiber (as vegan eating usually is) leads to healthier bowel movements. High fiber diets help fight against colon cancer.
Magnesium. Aiding in the absorption of calcium, magnesium is an often overlooked vitamin in importance to a healthy diet. Nuts, seeds, and dark leafy greens are an excellent source of magnesium.
Potassium. Potassium balances water and acidity in your body and stimulates the kidneys to eliminate toxins. Diets high in potassium have shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
Folate. This B vitamin is an important part of a healthy diet. Folate helps with cell repair, generating red and white blood cells, and metabolizing amino acids.
Antioxidants. For protection against cell damage, antioxidants are one of the best ways to help your body. Many researchers also believe that antioxidants helpprotect your body against forming some types of cancer.
Vitamin C. Besides boosting your immune system, Vitamin C also helps keep your gums healthy and helps your bruises heal faster. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant.
Vitamin E. This powerful vitamin has benefits for your heart, skin, eyes, brain, and may even help prevent Alzheimer’s Disease. A diet high in grains, nuts, and dark leafy greens is full of Vitamin E.
Phytochemicals. Plant-based foods provide phytochemicals, which help to prevent and heal the body from cancer, boost protective enzymes, and work with antioxidants in the body.
Protein. That protein is good for your body is no surprise. It may be a surprise to learn that most Americans eat too much protein and in forms such as red meat that are not healthy ways of getting protein. Beans, nuts, peas, lentils, and soy products are all great ways to get the right amount of protein in a vegan diet.
Disease Prevention
Eating a healthy vegan diet has shown to prevent a number of diseases. Find out from the list below what you could potentially avoid just by switching to a healthy, balanced vegan way of eating.
Cardiovascular disease. Eating nuts and whole grains, while eliminating dairy products and meat, will improve your cardiovascular health. A British study indicates that a vegan diet reduces the risk for heart disease and Type 2 diabetes. Vegan diets go far in preventing heart attack and stroke.
Cholesterol. Eliminating any food that comes from an animal and you will eliminate all dietary cholesterol from your diet. Your heart will thank you for that.
Blood pressure. A diet rich in whole grains is beneficial to your health in many ways, including lowering high blood pressure.
Type 2 diabetes. Not only is a vegan diet a weapon against Type 2 diabetes, it is also “easier to follow than the standard diet recommended by the American Diabetic Association.” Read more about it here.
Prostate cancer. A major study showed that men in the early stages of prostate cancer who switched to a vegan diet either stopped the progress of the cancer or may have even reversed the illness.
Colon cancer. Eating a diet consisting of whole grains, along with fresh fruits and vegetables, can greatly reduce your chances of colon cancer.
Breast cancer. Countries where women eat very little meat and animal products have a much lower rate of breast cancer than do the women in countries that consume more animal products.
Macular degeneration. Diets with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, especially leafy greens, carrots, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes, can help prevent the onset of age-related macular degeneration.
Cataracts. Much the same way macular degeneration is headed off by a vegan diet, cataracts are also thought to be prevented through the intake of the same fruits and vegetables. Produce high in antioxidants are also believed to help prevent cataracts.
Arthritis. Eliminating dairy consumption has long been connected with alleviating arthritis symptoms, but a new study indicates that a combination of gluten-free and vegan diet is very promising for improving the health of those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.
Osteoporosis. Bone health depends on a balance of neither too much or too little protein, adequate calcium intake, high potassium, and low sodium. With a healthy vegan diet, all four of these points set a perfect scenario for preventing osteoporosis.
Physical Benefits
In addition to good nutrition and disease prevention, eating vegan also provides many physical benefits. Find out how a vegan diet makes your body stronger, more attractive, and more energetic.
Body Mass Index. Several population studies show that a diet without meat leads to lower BMIs–usually an indicator of a healthy weight and lack of fat on the body.
Weight loss. A healthy weight loss is a typical result of a smart vegan diet. Eating vegan eliminates most of the unhealthy foods that tend to cause weight issues. Read more about weight loss and a vegan diet here.
Energy. When following a healthy vegan diet, you will find your energy is much higher. This blog post in Happy Healthy Long Life describes how NFL tight-endTony Gonzalez started eating vegan and gained energy–while playing football.
Healthy skin. The nuts and vitamins A and E from vegetables play a big role in healthy skin, so vegans will usually have good skin health. Many people who switch to a vegan diet will notice a remarkable reduction in blemishes as well.
Longer life. Several studies indicate that those following a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle live an average of three to six years longer than those who do not.
Body odor. Eliminating dairy and red meat from the diet significantly reduces body odor. Going vegan means smelling better.
Bad breath. Vegans frequently experience a reduction in bad breath. Imagine waking up in the morning and not having morning breath.
Hair. Many who follow vegan diets report that their hair becomes stronger, has more body, and looks healthier.
Nails. Healthy vegan diets are also responsible for much stronger, healthier nails. Nail health is said to be an indicator of overall health.
PMS. When switching to a vegan diet, many women tell how PMS symptoms become much less intense or disappear altogether. The elimination of dairy is thought to help with those suffering with PMS.
Migraines. Migraine suffers who go on vegan diets frequently discover relief from their migraines. Read more about the food-migraine connection in this article.
Allergies. Reduction in dairy, meat, and eggs is often tied to alleviation of allergy symptoms. Many vegans report much fewer runny noses and congestion problems.
Too Much in the American Diet
The typical American diet not only consists of too much food, it also relies on too much of unnecessary food products or toxins. The following list explains how a vegan diet can eliminate these problems.
Animal proteins. The average American eats twice as much protein as necessary for a healthy diet and much of that is from red meat. Getting protein from beans and grains is much healthier and reduces the risk for osteoporosis (see above).
Cow’s milk dairy. The human body is not designed to digest cow milk and cow milk dairy products, yet the idea of milk being healthy is pushed through advertising. As many as 75% of people in the world may be lactose intolerant and many people suffer from undiagnosed milk allergies or sensitivities. By eliminating cow’s milk from your diet, you are improving your overall health.
Eggs. Many nutritionists believe that the number of eggs in the American diet is too high. While sometimes disputed, it has been shown that eggs can raise cholesterol levels.
Mercury. Most of the fish and shellfish consumed has mercury in it. While some fish have less than others, it is almost impossible not to be putting mercury in your body when you eat fish.
Sugar. Most people have heard that Americans consume way too much sugar. Relying on other sweeteners that are not synthetic, processed, or derived from animal products is a healthier way to eat. Many vegans do not eat processed sugar due to the fact that most of the cane sugar is refined through activated charcoal, most of which comes from animal bones.
Other Benefits
In addition to the health benefits above, following a vegan lifestyle and diet also provides these benefits as well. From helping the environment to avoiding serious bacterial infections, learn other benefits to eating the vegan way below.
Animals. Many people begin a vegan diet out of concern for animals. Whether opposed to the conditions of animals intended for food or eating animals in general, going vegan will help your conscience rest easily.
Environment. Growing plants takes much fewer resources than growing animals. By eating vegan, you can help reduce the toll on the environment.
E. coli. E. coli comes from eating contaminated red meat and is the leading cause of bloody diarrhea. Young children, those with compromised immune systems, and elderly people can become extremely ill or die from E. coli. Eating vegan means completely avoiding the risk of E. coli infection.
Salmonella. Another gastrointestinal illness from animal products, salmonella food poisoning is closely related to E. coli. The most frequent way people contract salmonella food poisoning is through contact with raw eggs or raw chicken meat from chickens infected with salmonella. Again, going vegan means eliminating this risk altogether.
Mad cow disease. It’s safe to say that most people would want to avoid contracting a fatal, non-treatable disease. One way to ensure you don’t get Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is by not eating animals infected with mad cow disease. While the incidence of mad cow disease is not reportedly so high in North America, it does exist.
Global food supply. Feeding grain to animals meant as food sources reduces the amount of food that is available to underdeveloped nations. Many people will go hungry while that same food they could be eating is given to animals raised for slaughter. Eating vegan ensures that you have removed yourself from the participation of this imbalance.
Hormone consumption. Eating animals that have been given hormones to speed growth (a common practice in the meat industry) means those hormones go into your body. Not only can this disrupt the natural balance of your hormones, but some of the hormones given to animals have shown to cause tumor growth in humans.
Antibiotics. Antibiotics are frequently given to feed animals, which can lead to bacterial resistance. Many of the antibiotics used to treat human infections are also used in feed animals.
^WOW
oh and the PMS was enough for my husband to make me stop… but only me lol
Chill Hayzii. I was not insulting anyone. You don’t wanna eat animal products go for it. We are omnivores though. We are highly evolved animals and animals eat other animals. Just the natural order of things. A lion is not gross for eating a gazelle and I am not gross for eating a piggy. Well, I’m sure you think it’s gross but I think your tofu and soy is gross. Morally neither of us are gross. It was real curiosity. You have every right to eat whatever you want.
Rene thanks lol but I have no desire to give up my meat. More power to anyone who does but I love it. Maybe it’s just part of being raised by a hunter. Today I was listing things that I don’t remember learning how to do cause I was so young and it occurred to me that skinning a deer isn’t normally on the same list as reading and tying shoes lol.
nightmare. Who’s PMSing?
If humans are omnivores then how to you explain omnivores dying younger than vegans? Vegetarians and vegans will live 3-6 years longer than meat eaters. You are saying the food we are “meant” to eat kills us at a younger age than other foods?
The way human beings eat meat is anything but natural. Torturing them their entire lives and brutally slaughtering them. That is after pumping them full of growth hormones and antibiotics. I would love to see you run through the savanna and kill a gazelle like a lion does Lisa. Then and only then would I believe it’s the “natural order of things”. Human beings have a superior intellect (well.. some of us) and there is no need for us to consume animals.
Keep on feeding into the meat and dairy propaganda machine that is slowly killing so many people if it floats your boat. I’m sure that is how you were raised (by your mother who has had cancer twice and your 450 lbs father). Good luck with that…
Look you hippie fucking freak how the fuck does my mother cancer have anything to do with how she raised me?? Say all the horrible things you want about my fat sick fuck of a dad but my mother getting a genetic illness says NOTHING about my upbringing. You want to deny the fact that you are indeed an omnivore by nature go the fuck ahead but you are the dumbest bitch on the planet if you think that a cancer patient can’t be a good mom. Go fucking walk in front of a bus.
Truth hurts.
For those of you with an open mind that want to know the truth watch this movie –
www (DOT) documentarywire (DOT) com/earthlings
i think if we still had to hunt our food it would be better
and lisa it was a joke skim the list vegans dont PMS
I really fucking hope you get cancer. I have never wished that on another person in my life but this world would be far better off without someone as fucking idiotic as you.
Testy testy. Must be all of those hormones in your meat. I will tell you though Lisa, wish as you might, statistically it is you that will get cancer my dear. ;)
nightmare wild game is much better. The one thing this freak is right about is that the pump “farm” animals full of all kinds of crap. It’s best to get it from a local farmers market or kill it yourself.
NO shit I’m testy when you claim my mom is a bad parent because she had cancer. My risk is way higher because of genetics. Not meat. oh and I know a vegan that is the biggest raging bitch ever on her rag so that is bullshit. PMS is not caused by hormones in meat it is caused by hormones in people. Or is the freak going to try and convince you that we don’t have those either?
yea my sister hunts, she loves quail and deer, but more fruits ands veggies are needed to
I’m not a hunter myself but I am there are a billion and one farm towns so it’s not to hard to come by fresh meat. fresh cut bacon is soooooo good.
and for the record I flew off the handle because I can’t take my happy pills because I’m pregnant. I don’t really want anyone to get cancer. Can’t say it’s wouldn’t be karma if she did though.
we dont we pig, well my husband does but i try to stop him his fav is this cheicharron stuff, its like fried pig fat, eeewww i eat tearky instead
bleh. I hate fat. I always trim is off. I leave enough so my meat isn’t all dry and gross but my husband just chows right now on it and I’m like EEEEWWWWWWWWWWW. The texture is to much for me. all slimey and chewy and whatnot.
and I had turkey tonight lol. store bought this time. Thanksgiving is always a wild one though =]
Follow along Lisa. I am implying that your mother and father have the ailments that they suffer from because of how they eat. The fact that you were raised by people suffering from ailments that are known to be caused by eating animal products is what I was pointing out. They taught you how to eat. A person that weighs 450 is super morbidly obese and far from a healthy eater. So it’s not surprising that you have the views that you do.
Also – (from Stanford’s website)
Only a small percentage of cancers involve inherited mutations that are passed from generation to generation.
The majority of cancers can be attributed to acquired mutations. “Acquired” means that the mutations occur only in the tissue that is affected by cancer (for example, colon cancer cells), and are not passed to children. These changes occur at the cellular level after birth, as a result of environmental exposures (such as smoking), lifestyle behaviors (such as eating poorly or not exercising), or chance alone. Mutations in a person’s DNA accumulate over time. If mutations affect genes that control cell growth this may cause a cell to grow out of control, and to ultimately become a cancer cell.
Therefore, all cancers are genetic, in that they develop because of an accumulation of mutations in genes, but most are not inherited. The percentage of cancers that result from a single inherited factor varies depending on the type of tumor. For the more common cancer types, like breast and colon cancer, less than 10 percent are inherited.
I am right on board with you about my dad. I hate that man and what he has done to his body is a big part of the reason why. His idea of a slice of pie is 3/4 of it. The only eating habit I got from him is strict portion control. He became a fat fuck because he eats to much of everything. NOt becasue he eats meat. Although frying the fat and literatly soaking his burgers in the grease didn’t help much.
Now, my mothers breast cancer was cause by estrogen. According to the doctor there is a gene that can’t handle a flux of hormones or something and caused the cancer. I was 14 and in a fucked up emotional state when they explained all this to me so i can’t give you really accurate details. I think it had to do with menopause or something. The Leukemia was what nearly killed her. That one I have no clue about. Again, fucked up emotional state at 16, memory repression and all that. The shrink said I was in “emotional shock”. They told me but it didn’t stick. I just know it was somehow linked the the breast cancer and that it was very rare. They had a whole flow chart of bodily event. Now, what you posted is right. I would not inherit the cancer itself but I may have inherited, as my mother did, the gene that doesn’t like estrogen. They can do a test to find out but I honestly don’t want to know.
Now I’m sure your propaganda will twist that around and blame it aaaaall on what she eats but you see the doctors are smarter than you so anyone with half a brain is going to listen to them.
Lisa, you call my facts “propaganda”. I wonder who you think is behind it? Those big bad mean vegetable farmers? I mean come on. Facts are facts. Propaganda is propaganda. You don’t discredit my facts or make them any less true by calling them propaganda. Examples of propaganda are things like the “happy” cow pictures on packages of milk and cheese, the term “free range”, the “Got milk?” campaigns and so on.
oh the fear tactics that have convinced you humans aren’t omnivores. You think that everything causes cancer and you don’t call that propaganda. There are studies to “prove” everything.
How is one thing (animals products) turned into everything? What else did I say causes cancer? I would tell you to read the China study but who am I kidding I highly doubt you read much beyond TM blogs.
The human gastrointestinal tract features the anatomical modifications consistent with an herbivorous diet. Humans have muscular lips and a small opening into the oral cavity. Many of the so-called “muscles of expression” are actually the muscles used in chewing. The muscular and agile tongue essential for eating, has adapted to use in speech and other things. The mandibular joint is flattened by a cartilaginous plate and is located well above the plane of the teeth. The temporalis muscle is reduced. The characteristic “square jaw” of adult males reflects the expanded angular process of the mandible and the enlarged masseter/pterygoid muscle group. The human mandible can move forward to engage the incisors, and side-to-side to crush and grind.
Human teeth are also similar to those found in other herbivores with the exception of the canines (the canines of some of the apes are elongated and are thought to be used for display and/or defense). Our teeth are rather large and usually abut against one another. The incisors are flat and spade-like, useful for peeling, snipping and biting relatively soft materials. The canines are neither serrated nor conical, but are flattened, blunt and small and function Like incisors. The premolars and molars are squarish, flattened and nodular, and used for crushing, grinding and pulping noncoarse foods.
Human saliva contains the carbohydrate-digesting enzyme, salivary amylase. This enzyme is responsible for the majority of starch digestion. The esophagus is narrow and suited to small, soft balls of thoroughly chewed food. Eating quickly, attempting to swallow a large amount of food or swallowing fibrous and/or poorly chewed food (meat is the most frequent culprit) often results in choking in humans.
Man’s stomach is single-chambered, but only moderately acidic. (Clinically, a person presenting with a gastric pH less than 4-5 when there is food in the stomach is cause for concern.) The stomach volume represents about 21-27% of the total volume of the human GI tract. The stomach serves as a mixing and storage chamber, mixing and liquefying ingested foodstuffs and regulating their entry into the small intestine. The human small intestine is long, averaging from 10 to 11 times the body length. (Our small intestine averages 22 to 30 feet in length. Human body size is measured from the top of the head to end of the spine and averages between two to three feet in length in normal-sized individuals.)
The human colon demonstrates the pouched structure peculiar to herbivores. The distensible large intestine is larger in cross-section than the small intestine, and is relatively long. Man’s colon is responsible for water and electrolyte absorption and vitamin production and absorption. There is also extensive bacterial fermentation of fibrous plant materials, with the production and absorption of significant amounts of food energy (volatile short-chain fatty acids) depending upon the fiber content of the diet. The extent to which the fermentation and absorption of metabolites takes place in the human colon has only recently begun to be investigated.
In conclusion, we see that human beings have the gastrointestinal tract structure of a “committed” herbivore. Humankind does not show the mixed structural features one expects and finds in anatomical omnivores such as bears and raccoons. Thus, from comparing the gastrointestinal tract of humans to that of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores we must conclude that humankind’s GI tract is designed for a purely plant-food diet.
Humans are not omnivores.

Tell that to your canine teeth weirdo.
Again, Human teeth are also similar to those found in other herbivores with the exception of the canines (the canines of some of the apes are elongated and are thought to be used for display and/or defense). Display and/or defense. Not eating meat. You should also ask gelada baboons, gorillas, and maybe a hippo while your at it. All herbivores with huge canines. There gores that theory.
Carnivores have a wide mouth opening in relation to their head size. This confers obvious advantages in developing the forces used in seizing, killing and dismembering prey. Facial musculature is reduced since these muscles would hinder a wide gape, and play no part in the animal’s preparation of food for swallowing. In all mammalian carnivores, the jaw joint is a simple hinge joint lying in the same plane as the teeth. This type of joint is extremely stable and acts as the pivot point for the “lever arms” formed by the upper and lower jaws. The primary muscle used for operating the jaw in carnivores is the temporalis muscle. This muscle is so massive in carnivores that it accounts for most of the bulk of the sides of the head (when you pet a dog, you are petting its temporalis muscles). The “angle” of the mandible (lower jaw) in carnivores is small. This is because the muscles (masseter and pterygoids) that attach there are of minor importance in these animals. The lower jaw of carnivores cannot move forward, and has very limited side-to-side motion. When the jaw of a carnivore closes, the blade-shaped cheek molars slide past each other to give a slicing motion that is very effective for shearing meat off bone.
The teeth of a carnivore are discretely spaced so as not to trap stringy debris. The incisors are short, pointed and prong-like and are used for grasping and shredding. The canines are greatly elongated and dagger-like for stabbing, tearing and killing prey. The molars (carnassials) are flattened and triangular with jagged edges such that they function like serrated-edged blades. Because of the hinge-type joint, when a carnivore closes its jaw, the cheek teeth come together in a back-to-front fashion giving a smooth cutting motion like the blades on a pair of shears.
The saliva of carnivorous animals does not contain digestive enzymes. When eating, a mammalian carnivore gorges itself rapidly and does not chew its food. Since proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzymes cannot be liberated in the mouth due to the danger of autodigestion (damaging the oral cavity), carnivores do not need to mix their food with saliva; they simply bite off huge chunks of meat and swallow them whole.
According to evolutionary theory, the anatomical features consistent with an herbivorous diet represent a more recently derived condition than that of the carnivore. Herbivorous mammals have well-developed facial musculature, fleshy lips, a relatively small opening into the oral cavity and a thickened, muscular tongue. The lips aid in the movement of food into the mouth and, along with the facial (cheek) musculature and tongue, assist in the chewing of food. In herbivores, the jaw joint has moved to position above the plane of the teeth. Although this type of joint is less stable than the hinge-type joint of the carnivore, it is much more mobile and allows the complex jaw motions needed when chewing plant foods. Additionally, this type of jaw joint allows the upper and lower cheek teeth to come together along the length of the jaw more or less at once when the mouth is closed in order to form grinding platforms. (This type of joint is so important to a plant-eating animal, that it is believed to have evolved at least 15 different times in various plant-eating mammalian species.) The angle of the mandible has expanded to provide a broad area of attachment for the well-developed masseter and pterygoid muscles (these are the major muscles of chewing in plant-eating animals). The temporalis muscle is small and of minor importance. The masseter and pterygoid muscles hold the mandible in a sling-like arrangement and swing the jaw from side-to-side. Accordingly, the lower jaw of plant-eating mammals has a pronounced sideways motion when eating. This lateral movement is necessary for the grinding motion of chewing.
The dentition of herbivores is quite varied depending on the kind of vegetation a particular species is adapted to eat. Although these animals differ in the types and numbers of teeth they posses, the various kinds of teeth when present, share common structural features. The incisors are broad, flattened and spade-like. Canines may be small as in horses, prominent as in hippos, pigs and some primates (these are thought to be used for defense) or absent altogether. The molars, in general, are squared and flattened on top to provide a grinding surface. The molars cannot vertically slide past one another in a shearing/slicing motion, but they do horizontally slide across one another to crush and grind. The surface features of the molars vary depending on the type of plant material the animal eats. The teeth of herbivorous animals are closely grouped so that the incisors form an efficient cropping/biting mechanism, and the upper and lower molars form extended platforms for crushing and grinding. The “walled-in” oral cavity has a lot of potential space that is realized during eating.
These animals carefully and methodically chew their food, pushing the food back and forth into the grinding teeth with the tongue and cheek muscles. This thorough process is necessary to mechanically disrupt plant cell walls in order to release the digestible intracellular contents and ensure thorough mixing of this material with their saliva. This is important because the saliva of plant-eating mammals often contains carbohydrate-digesting enzymes which begin breaking down food molecules while the food is still in the mouth.

I can’t tell if you’re seriously this much of a nut job or if you’re just a troll.
Riiiiiight. lol
Run out of comebacks – accuse other of being troll. So original.
That wasn’t what you said last week or so and I quote you – “Rene. Stoping trying to be all clever and sarcastic. We have hayzii for that and you’re not as funny as her.”
But now you disagree with me and have no comebacks so I’m a “troll”. Boohoo.
your one liners are great. See first comment on this post. Your opinions however are so crazy I find them hard to believe
If by opinions you mean facts and by hard to believe you mean don’t understand then, ok. Whatever.
Whatever you need to tell yourself to make your horse feel higher.
If saying I’m on a high horse because you feel like shit and live a shitty life makes you feel better then go for it. By saying I’m on a high horse does that mean you concede to me being above you? ;)
LIsa is the exact example of what is wrong with most people now a days.
Her “i dont give a shit’ attitude and “MODERATION IS KEY” excuse(Unless you are making wise food choices you have zero ability to Moderate what you are eating) is running rapid in the ignorant and lazy.
Herself and her children will suffer because of this attitude in many different facets of life.
Her ego and her pride will prevent her from allowing herself the right to learn the truth and give herself and her child(ren)
the best that she can.
Personally, I feel that feeding your child chemical/hormone/antibiotic SUGAR etc infused foods should be deemed CHILD ABUSE,
but the government will never say that because the pharmaceutical companies prey on families like Lisa’s.
Lisa’s family is much more valuable to them eating garbage food because that will lead to medical issuses.
WHen I decided that I was going to breastfeed my daughter I decided that I was going to give her the best.
Why would I stop there? It has to continue through out life. with all choices we make.
Lisa would like to believe that my child is deprived and that I am a Hippie and that my child will hate me.
But that is just her fear and defensiveness surrounding herself and her choices.
My child has sweets from time to time that I make here at home. Lisa doesnt even see a homemade fruit juice frozen into a Popsicle as a good enough treat,
that that makes me a bad mother.
Her views are so upside down because of lack of education, pride and ignorance.
I truly hope that one day she will see the light and educate herself on the truth about what she is putting into her body and the bodies of that of her family.
Take care Lisa, Good Luck.
^get off your high horse/ soap box Sam we cant all afford the food we wana feed our kids and that kind of holyer then thow is kinda annoying…
Thank you nightmare. Some people think they know everything. My daughters doctor approves of how I feed her and I just got back from a prenatal check up where we talked about my diet and she gave me a thumbs up. Thats all I need. They can watch all the movies they want, won’t beat medical school.
and theres a lady on the Marie Osmond show right now saying non stick pans are killing us. Just saying. Ahve fun in your bubble living in fear and whatnot.
if a 9 year old is 300 pounds yea thats child abuse (i dont beleave in BMI) the emergcy lollipop in my purse not so much
I’m with you there. I want to smack a fat kids parent. “oh don’t judge them” bitch I’m judging the parent. Get your damn kid out from in front of the t.v. take away their game boy and gt them a freaking bike.
I never had TV as a kid, I went outside and played and ran etc. I ate fruit instead of candy and didn’t have soda til I was a teen. I think parents of fat kids without a metabolic disorder should be slapped with abuse.
I had one but we were only allowed to watch it after it got dark and we had to come inside or in the winter. I HATE seeing a childs bedroom with a tv and video game systems are crap. Parents should raise children. Not a screen.
and crap*
To tell the truth it was a wonderful advanced article nevertheless as with all fantastic copy writers there are a few details that may be labored after. Nevertheless never the particular significantly less it absolutely was intriguing.
